What referring partners can expect:

Assessments You Can Refer For

Select the assessment that fits your client’s situation. If you are not sure which one applies, get in touch and we will help you choose.

OT Driving Assessment Referral

An occupational therapy driving assessment looks at how a person’s health, thinking and physical function relate to driving, for private and commercial licences, and is completed by a qualified occupational therapist. We support older drivers, drivers returning after injury or a medical event, and driver readiness for learners and the neurodivergent population, then provide clear recommendations for next steps.

Functional Capacity Assessment (FCA) Referral

A functional capacity assessment is a thorough review of how a person manages everyday activities, written up as a clear report. It is often used to support planning, funding requests and service recommendations for your client and the people involved in their care.

Funding Pathways We Work With

We accept referrals across a range of funding pathways. Please note the funding type on the referral so we can confirm the right process with your client.

  • NDIS, for self-managed and plan-managed participants
  • Private and self-funded clients
  • Workers Compensation and icare
  • Other funders and insurers by arrangement, so please ask if your client’s funder is not listed

A Respectful, Person-Centred Approach

Every referral is approached with care, clarity and respect. We understand that assessments about driving and daily independence can feel significant for the people you refer, so we keep the process clear and work at a pace that suits each client.
