Occupational Therapy (OT) helps people overcome physical, mental, or cognitive challenges that affect their ability to do everyday tasks. The goal is to improve independence, safety, and quality of life.
Services are designed for adults who are experiencing:
- Injury or illness
- Disability or developmental delay
- Age-related changes
No referral is needed for private paying clients, unless you require a driving assessment. However, if you’re using NDIS, Medicare, health care package, MyAgedCare, DVA or insurance (e.g. Workers Compensation or Icare), a referral will be required. If you are requiring a driving assessment, medical fitness to drive form has to be completed by your GP/specialist as your referral.
No, I am not a registered NDIS provider and therefore support only plan-managed and self-managed participants, not NDIA managed.
An OT Driving Assessment entails the following:
- OT to complete a license check prior to the assessment

Completion of pre-work tasks (tasks required to complete for work) such as demonstrating checking the oil, tyre pressure, controls in the commertical vehicle, etc.
2. On-Road Assessment:
Conducted with a qualified driving instructor in a dual-controlled vehicle/ LR/MR/HR/MC/forklift/motorbike. The OT observes your:
